    Tadlock Unveils Logo, Uniforms

    As the newest OIL conference grows, new franchises are being designed. PFC manager Derrick Tadlock was in the 158 on the 2008 Ramadi mission with Jessen, Zerger, Schuster, and Roe, among others. He's based his franchise's identity on the one thing no one can ever take from him: his name. The Tadlock franchise was designed by Michael Taylor and includes the Field Artillery's crossed cannons behind a single shield.

    The Book of OIL: Volume Four (2013-2014) Now Available

    Volume Four of the Book of OIL is now available in paperback and hardcover. It starts with the tumultuous 2013 season, when deadly tornadoes destroyed one OILer's home and two brothers-in-arms were killed. It then covers the OIL's expansion, the loss of another SECFOR brother, and the very first Liberty Bowl. The book is 246 pages long and retails for $34.99 in paperback or $56.00 in hardcover. All four volumes are available on Amazon, so be sure to put them on your Wish List.

    The OIL is proud to announce updated logos across the league. First is a special 10-year anniversary logo for the league. It is based on Breakfast Supply Co.'s streamlined version of the original OIL logo. Hector of Breakfast Supply Co. also designed the Liberty Bowl logo and streamlined the logos for the OIL's three conferences.

    Gentlemen, the draft is 25 days away, so here's a friendly reminder that our league store has everything you'd ever want with your league or team logo printed on it. And now it's updated with the streamlined OIL logo, the 10-year anniversary logo, and the newly-designed Liberty Bowl logo.

    We've Met our GoFundMe Goal!

    Thanks to another large donation, we've made our GoFundMe goal of $9,095. I can't believe it: the #158reunion is happening. Here's what it took to get to this point:
    • Seven months;

    • over 1,000 Facebook shares;
    • over 500 targeted tweets;
    • 111 donors;
    • 104 email updates;
    • two stories in the Lawton Constitution;
    • one article by Yahoo! Sports fantasy writer Andy Behrens;

    • one appearance on KOCO Channel 5 News;

    • and lots and lots of help from friends, family, and perfect strangers. 

    Thank you to everyone who helped make this happen. Your efforts will not be wasted. SECFOR brothers, let me know if you're going to be here. The reunion is at 1100 on Saturday, September 5 (10 years to the day since we flew to Fort Lewis) at Henry Hudson's Public House in Bricktown, OKC. From there, everyone is free to buddy up and do whatever you want. At 0600 on Sunday, September 6, those who are interested can join the OIL managers on a charter bus to AT&T Stadium for the 2015 OIL draft. We'll be arriving back in OKC at 2200 Sunday night. Monday is reserved for travel and doing whatever you want to do, so be sure to get everyone's commo info to figure out what you'll do on Sunday (if you don't join us at the stadium) and Monday. 

    Let me know if you need help with travel costs or a hotel room, and we'll make it happen.
