When Hillier abruptly left the OIL in 2017, 158th alum and Iraq and Afghanistan veteran Will Reid grabbed the guide-on and kept the AFC moving forward. Reid has settled on the team name War Eagle. It is a play on his military roots and his status as a lifelong Philadelphia Eagles fan. The logo and uniforms were designed by Michael Taylor. The logo is reminiscent of an Army guide-on, and the gray feathers in the eagle's tuft spell out LII, the Super Bowl Reid's beloved Eagles just won. The colors mimic the old kelly green and gray Eagles uniforms. -
