    Zack Brake Unveils His 'Boomtown Brawlers'

    Brake spent 2006 at Camp Liberty with Jimmy Mitchell in SSG Taylor's squad. Since then, he's worked in various position in the oil and gas industry, including supervising a yard in the boomtowns of North Dakota. Fittingly, his franchise is named the Boomtown Brawlers. His logo is inspired by the HBO series Deadwood and the movie There Will Be Blood. His team colors are dark brown, light brown, and vegas gold. No other OIL franchise uses those colors. Brake now lives in Chickasha with his wife. He'll be a great addition to the OIL.

    Jimmy Mitchell Chooses OIL Identity

    Jimmy Mitchell has reserved a spot in the OIL when it expands to a third conference. He's chosen the name Nightmares for his OIL franchise. Mitchell spent the 2006 SECFOR mission at Camp Liberty with the bulk of the 158. He was a member of SSG Taylor's squad along with Brake (manager of the PFC's Boomtown Brawlers). His Nightmares franchise is inspired by the cult-classic horror films of the 1980s. They boast a menacing look of red, black, and gray.  No other OIL franchise uses that color scheme in same way, although Henderson and Morgan come close.

    Welcome Cordes and the 'SECFOR Sixers' to the OIL

    Welcome Nate Cordes to the OIL. He has reserved a spot in the league and will compete as the SECFOR Sixers when the league next expands. He was in Bravo Battery and went to Iraq in 2005 as a member of First Platoon. He spent that year at Camp Echo in Diwaniyah with current OIL members Jessen and Lynn.

    We spent 2006 in Iraq as part of the SECFOR mission. The Sixers name is a classic tribute to that year. The chevrons in the logo harken to our military heritage and create the "MM" of the Roman numeral for "2006": MMVI. The focus of the logo is the second half of the Roman numeral: VI. The colors are inspired by the U.S. Army dress blue uniform. No other OIL franchise uses that color scheme.
